Isaiah Hill

Mr. Isaiah Hill is a graduate of the University of West Georgia, where he earned his degree in Music Education with a concentration in percussion. Originally from Fayetteville, Georgia, Mr. Hill now shares his love of music as an elementary music teacher and director of the chorus and performing arts club.

 

Mr. Hill has an extensive background in marching band, beginning in high school and continuing throughout his college years. At UWG, he performed in a variety of ensembles, including wind ensemble, symphonic band, marching band, and percussion ensemble. He also had the opportunity to perform in the orchestra pit for several UWG Theatre Department productions, such as Heathers: The Musical (West End Edition), Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, The Toxic Avenger, and The Sound of Music.


In addition to his collegiate performances, Mr. Hill is a member of Phi Delta Musicus, a music fraternity dedicated to service and musicianship. Since 2021, he

has also worked with the Wildcat Band, specifically teaching and assisting with the percussion section. Under his leadership, the percussion section earned the award for “Best Percussion” in their class at a marching competition in Rome, Georgia.

 

Mr. Hill is excited to inspire young musicians, helping students discover joy, creativity, and confidence through music.
